Guided tour

Trip to Kjeldestøl: NOK 750 per person. Includes a guide, coffee brewed over a primus stove, a light lunch, and transportation to the starting point and back to the hotel.

The entire hike takes about 3 hours, including breaks. The hike starts at the parking lot at the top of Bjørke and goes about 2.5 km inland; the first 2 km are on a gravel road, and the last 700 m are through the woods.

Kjeldestøl consists of a collection of small mountain farmhouses; the farm was in operation right up until the summer of 1951. The farm was restored and rebuilt by the local community association and is now complete with its seven farmhouses: Siriselet, Bjørkeselet, Jensaselet, Monsaselet, Kristianselet, Peraselet, and Torkjellselet. In addition to this, a shed, a hayloft, and an outhouse have been built. There is also a beautiful long table where you can enjoy your lunch.

Sauna

The hotel has a sauna with a fantastic view of the fjord and Snilstveitøy.
The sauna is located right down by the beach, so you can take a refreshing dip in the cold fjord and head straight inside to warm up.

The price is NOK 200 per person for 1 hour (minimum NOK 400)
